CONTROLLO TERMOGRAFICO

THERMOGRAPHY

The operating principle of a thermal imaging camera is based on the fact that each body emits thermal radiation detectable in the infrared radiation range and invisible to the human eye.

The higher the temperature of an object, the more IR radiation it emits. These radiations are invisible to the human eye but can be identified thanks to the infrared camera which shows, through images, the heat emitted by these radiations. These images consist of a “thermal mapping” color map that indicates the surface temperatures of an object.

A thermal imaging camera is also an exceptional diagnostic tool that can be used in many sectors that allows you to carry out a type of predictive maintenance, i.e. a monitoring of the working conditions of the analyzed systems, much more effective than scheduled maintenance.

Through the thermographic control it is possible to carry out:

  • Preventive identification of anomalies: identifies the weak points of a structure ensuring the customer a saving in terms of time (it does not involve machine downtime, deteriorated pieces can be replaced in time without stopping production) and in terms of using resources.
  • Maintenance optimization: It is possible to intervene only on the precise point, avoiding invasive interventions on the whole system
  • Monitoring the electrical system makes it possible to detect possible sources of ignition of a fire thus allowing the insurance risk.
